At EWMA Mariana began with just three women, a small space and one volunteer. Over the following 12 months the program blossomed to include a fashionable boutique, weekly events, an arts studio and 30 participants. She developed partnerships quickly with artists, designers, galleries, universities, local businesses, corporations and community groups.
